Jim Davidson
Air technology provider Accelya has promoted former Farelogix chief Jim Davidson to become the company’s new CEO.
Davidson joined Accelya as chief product officer after the company completed the acquisition of Farelogix in 2020.
He most recently served as Accelya’s president and chief strategy officer and had been leading the company since John Johnston stepped down as CEO in November. Davidson now takes over as Accelya’s permanent CEO with immediate effect.
Previously, Davidson served as president and CEO of NTE, president and CEO of Amadeus Global Travel North America, head of sales and marketing at System One and vice president of marketing at Reed Travel Group/OAG.
While heading up Farelogix, Davidson oversaw the company's development of its New Distribution Capability (NDC) solutions, which have become part of Accelya's FLX platform.
Davidson said: “I’m honoured to be named CEO of Accelya. Over the past few months, I´ve been able to work with the executive team across all areas of the business and am energised by the Accelya team’s commitment to customer success.
“We are better positioned than ever to continue delivering innovation and game-changing solutions to the global airline and travel industry.”
