Jo Lloyd
Travel management company FCM has appointed Jo Lloyd as
global account management and consulting director.
Lloyd was previously a partner at business travel consultancy
Nina & Pinta, with which FCM has reached an integration agreement to bolster
its existing consultancy offering.
Lloyd has an extensive business travel background across the
TMC environment, airline sales and latterly as an independent industry consultant
working with the likes of the Business Travel Association, the Institute of
Travel Management and hotel group IHG.
FCM says that, other than the appointment of Lloyd, there
will be no immediate changes to the Nina & Pinta business, although the TMC
intends to “maximise benefits for both operations and take advantage of their
shared expertise”. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Jo shares FCM’s passion for out-of-the-box thinking and
isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo – we are thrilled to welcome her to
the team,” said Marcus Eklund, FCM’s managing director.
“She adds vast industry knowledge and consultancy know-how
as well as an immense network in the corporate travel community, which will be
invaluable to FCM’s continued growth as the world returns to travel.”
Lloyd added: “The world of travel has changed considerably,
so as businesses begin to reopen for travel, they are faced with unique changes
and challenges. I am looking forward to working with customers to support them in
restarting their programmes with confidence through improved processes,
guidance and advice.”
Meanwhile, Scott Reddie, who previously led global account
management for FCM, has relocated to the organisation’s Asian hub in Singapore
to support growth across the region, with a particular focus on expansion in
China and Japan.
