Hotel management company Cycas Hospitality has reinforced
its French and German expansion plans with the appointment of five regional
leadership team members.
In Germany, Daniel Bowen has been appointed development
director for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). Bowen joins
from Dorint Hotels and Resorts and brings ten years’ experience as a hotel
developer, having previously helped Novum Hospitality expand its portfolio.
Meanwhile, Katrin Schoefer has been named senior manager of financial planning
and analysis and business intelligence. Schoefer brings experience across a
number of companies, including Lufthansa AirPlus and Penta Hotels, where she
oversaw the company’s global financial reporting processes.
French appointments include Beatrice Puma as director of
sales for France. Puma joins with more than ten years’ hospitality experience,
including six focused on the Charles de Gaulle and Roissy region. Nicolas Dubas
has been named operations director for the new Hyatt House Paris Charles de Gaulle
Airport property (pictured), having previously spent eight years working for Cycas’ first
dual-branded hotel in London. Pierre Brochard, meanwhile, has spent eight years
working across Hyatt properties throughout Europe and the Middle East and is
joining as operations director at the Hyatt Place (co-located with the Hyatt House in Paris) from Hotel du Louvre, where
he was front office manager.
Matt Luscombe, CEO of Cycas Hospitality, said: “These five
appointments demonstrate how important the French and German markets are for
our business. I’m confident their combination of international experience and
local knowledge will ensure we continue to be a preferred partner for investors
and owners looking to enter new markets.”
