Meetings, events and hospitality technology provider Cvent said
it now supports more than 18 different languages within the Cvent Supplier Network
(CSN), its online meeting and event venue sourcing platform.
The expanded language support allows planners to search and
book international or domestic venues in their native or preferred language
from their mobile device or computer. Cvent said this language selection is
carried through much of the venue sourcing process, from search through to
contracting a request for proposal (RFP).
Further enhancements to CSN include a simplified RFP
process, which Cvent said improves and streamlines communication between the
planner and venue.
The platform now supports Chinese (simplified), Chinese
(traditional), Dutch, English (US), Finnish, French, French Canadian, German,
Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (European), Portuguese (Brazilian),
Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai and Turkish.
Cvent said it will continue adding more languages to CSN.
Graham Pope, Cvent’s vice president of international sales,
said: “With the continued acceleration of globalisation, it is more critical
than ever to deliver technology that supports a diverse, global user base, and
this latest enhancement opens up valuable opportunities for both planners and
hoteliers around the world.”
