Wings Corporate Travel has renamed itself Wings Travel Management, ABTN can confirm.
The South Africa-based travel management company (TMC) has also created a new logo, featuring a globe.
Cindy-Anne Passet, global head of marketing and communications at Wings Travel Management said the new name and logo represent the company’s global vision.
“We at Wings will work under, look up to and promote to the world,” she said.
“As we move towards becoming a truly global provider we felt it was time to relook our marketing strategy.”
Wings has expanded rapidly in the last few months, with new offices in Dubai and Angola, with further growth planned in Nigeria and Russia.
The TMC first launched in the UK in 2009, when it bought the UK-based travel management company Travel Alliance.
It is understoof that Wings is still on the acquisition trail to expand its UK business.
Wings Travel Management has also launched three sub-brands: Wings Offshore Travel, Wings Marine Travel and Wings Corporate Travel.
Wings said it hopes the reshaping of its brand will show clients that it "can manage more than just corporate travel".
