Wings Travel Management has strengthened its position in Brazil by winning a contract to provide travel management for marine engineering firm Modec.
Modec specialises in the engineering, procurement, building and installation of floating production systems for the oil and gas industries.
Richard Karol, Wings’ vice president for the Americas, said: “Our growing client list demonstrates that Wings is fast becoming the premier provider of travel and logistics services to the rapidly expanding Brazilian oil and gas market following our acquisition of Cabtur earlier this year.”
Wings’ Brazilian operations also works with energy, marine and offshore companies such as Queiroz Galvao Oil & Gas, Queiroz Galvao Exploration, Fugro, SBM, and Wilson Sons
The TMC hopes to expand its global reach by acquiring a business travel agency in the Far East within the next 12 months.
