Wings Corporate Travel has opened its first offices in the middle east, in Dubai.
The Dubai operation will specialize in the oil and gas, corporate and marine sectors across the middle east.
Harvey Lines, Director of Operations, middle east and Africa for Wings Corporate Travel, who will oversee the operation in Dubai, said Wings hopes to provide a "high-tech, high-touch" travel management service for the region.
"The feedback we're getting from travel bookers is that they are desperately seeking a level of service that they're not currently getting," said lines.
"We're winning new clients in this market because our service is unique - mostly because we've tailored our business model to meet the distinctive needs of the oil and gas industry. Company personnel travel to and from remote locations with complex logistical needs."
Lines said the industry had been "overly-commoditised" in Dubai, and that he hoped to bring a "specialized service" back to the industry.
Wings also has offices in the UK in London, Manchester and Aberdeen, in South Africa in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban, and in the US in Houston.
The travel management company is also looking at establishing offices in Angola, Nigeria and Russia, and to building on its portfolio of clients in the energy sector.
