Greek company Kyvernitis Travel has signed a global partner agreement with global travel management consortium Uniglobe Travel International.
It is the first Greek company to join Uniglobe's global network of partners.
Kyvernitis Travel is a specialist in business travel management as well as leisure and marine travel.
Gary Charlwood, founder and CEO of Canadian-owned Uniglobe, said "I am delighted to welcome Greece and Kyvernitis Travel to our growing network of Global Partners. Although they are presently experiencing economical challenges, Greece adds an important link to our global family in general and the EU group in particular.
"This partnership is a significant win-win. The UNIGLOBE network and buying power will translate into advantages and savings for Kyvernitis clients, and the Kyvernitis leadership will no doubt grow our collective brand in the local market."
Uniglobe has signed up 18 other new global partners across Europe in the last year
