Paris-based Travel Planet has enhanced its proprietary Click
& Control booking tool with an upgraded real-time data module and a
notifications centre.
The redesigned Business Intelligence module allows users to conduct
“qualified, secure and accessible data analysis in real time,” says the TMC’s
CEO Tristan Dessain-Gelinet, who describes a “more optimum user experience with
a creative design and simple, fast and aesthetic ergonomics”.
Meanwhile, the notifications centre enables clients to push
messages – such as travel-related information or internal notes – to travellers
via SMS, email and via the Click & Control desktop and mobile platform.
Travel Planet was founded in 2014 and has more than 100 medium
and large companies clients, 60 per cent of which are public sector
organisations.
The TMC has grown its presence in the UK and was named on a
new travel and venue sourcing framework from the UK’s Crown Commercial Service
(CCS) last June.
In February, James Diaz joined the TMC as director of
sales and business development, based in London, following nine years at American
Express Global Business Travel.
