Travel Counsellors has launched a business travel subsidiary aimed at supporting the company’s corporate travel agents and building its business travel team.
‘Travel Counsellors for Business’ has been developed as the TMC has enjoyed strong corporate travel growth, with business travel now representing 25 per cent of Travel Counsellors’ global turnover.
The development includes the launch of a new website and a “host of new marketing materials that reflect the Travel Counsellors for Business brand”.
Travel Counsellors managing director Steve Byrne said more business travellers are starting to see the value in a personalised service.
“We believe our highly relational business model is perfectly placed in the corporate travel market and is why we have seen a 15% increase in our global corporate travel business over the past 12 months,” said Byrne.
“So we created ‘Travel Counsellors for Business’ to demonstrate our commitment to the corporate travel market, to grow our brand presence and increase customer recognition of the unrivalled concierge-style service we provide.”
The TMC has 100 consultants specialising in business travel and a further 200 working in both the leisure and corporate area.
Earlier this year Travel Counsellors joined the GTMC and was also named in the top 20 TMCs in the UK.
