Travel Counsellors said that new clients ranged from “small start-up businesses to a number of global entities”.

“With corporate Travel Counsellors on the ground in seven countries, our agents are able to offer a comprehensive client support service around the clock. We will continue to utilise our global presence to capitalise on further growth in our business division.”
The company, which also operates in Ireland, Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, Canada and Dubai, has been focusing on the business travel market for the last two years.
Byrne said that 40 per cent of the company’s 1,200 agents now had at least one corporate client on their books. The firm also plans to introduce dedicated business travel training sessions for its agents.
