Bremen-based travel technology company Partners Software will implement its airfare distribution system ”Low.Fare” to travel management company The Appointment Group. The system finds low cost airlines and other non-GDS fares, which can then be booked through the ”Low.Fare” website. The system will be integrated with The Appointment Group”s existing GDS partner, Galileo.
Partners Software managing director Kai Hannemann (pictured) explained the main advantages of the system: ”Firstly, ”Low.Fare” is able to provide an end-to-end solution, from finding the non-GDS fare, to making the booking, to providing descriptive billing information to AirPlus and AMEX lodge cards. The system also provides the true end price of the airfare, which is important for travel managers as so many airlines are cleverly hiding the taxes and charges that make up the actual cost of travel.
””Low.Fare” can be easily integrated into travel management companies” existing GDS systems. When using these systems the agent will see small pop up screens with options from the ”Low.Fare” system, and when they click on them they will be taken to the system web page, through which they can book direct with Partners Software.”
Partners Software will be exhibiting at the Travel Technology Show from 13-14 February, stand C27.
