The Appointment Group has launched a ‘Touring App’ designed specifically for its music industry clients.
The travel and event management firm has developed its own software for its music industry clients.
The iPad, desktop and laptop tool for tour managers, production managers and other personnel contains many features for live touring including room lists, riders and accommodation vouchers.
The Appointment Group said the app is the “first of its kind” in the world of music touring and will “significantly assist” the group travel management process.
Other functionalities include access to hotel service files, passport details, distances to venues and airports, links to supplier websites and PDF and email functionality.
The company said it is working on phase two of the app.
