Travel management company TAG has launched a new integrated
travel app, TAGgo, as part of its recently launched digital suite.
The app offers itinerary information and city guides as well
as real time updates like gate changes and baggage collection information. Colleagues,
friends and family can also access a traveller’s itinerary so they can be kept
up‐to‐date.
The roll-out will begin with TAG’s corporate and investment management
clients, before being offered to music touring and production clients at the
beginning of 2022.
Daniel Price, TAG’s business development and strategy director,
said: “TAGgo is more than your standard itinerary app. It’s your PA, your travel
booker, your tour managers, your city guide, your TMC all in one app.”
Kelly McGuinness, online product implementation manager for
TAG, said, “There are a whole host of developments in the pipeline for TAGgo.
For larger groups we’re introducing rooming lists and for our entertainment
clients, rider information will be on the app from the beginning of 2022.”
The tool is fully customisable, with company branding
or personalised travel policy, which TAG believe will help adoption within
businesses.
Price added, “We know that whilst people might be travelling
for different purposes – from a client meeting to a world tour – the experience
of the journey should be the same. TAGgo gives you information at your
fingertips enhancing your experience, but more than that it gives you peace of
mind whilst travelling.”
