New sustainability-focused travel management company COCO+ has signed a three-year deal with data specialist Travelogix.
The TMC, which has this month begun onboarding its first customers, launched with a commercial model that wraps up the cost of offsetting trip-related carbon emissions within the transaction fee.
The new agreement with Travelogix will allow the TMC to use all modules within the Analytix reporting platform.
Phil Brown, chief operating officer and co‐founder of COCO+, said the TMC always planned to be a “technology first” travel provider.
“Real‐time reporting was a must for us to deliver a fully rounded and informative experience for our customers,” added Brown. “We believe data can tell a story. It encourages engagement and can ultimately help influence decision making for the future.”
COCO+ is already working with technology partners ProCon and Vibe to provide travel solutions to its expanding base of corporate customers.
Tahir Zia, Travelogix’s director of sales, added: “In this post‐pandemic world, we fully understand the crucial role sustainability will play in the recovery of responsible travel.
“Greener choices down the supply chain, sector-wide ESG (environmental, social and governance) commitments and the accurate tracking of carbon emissions will all play their part in a more responsible approach to business travel.
“This new partnership with sustainable TMC COCO+ shows our intent to work with the exciting companies who are entering this space.”
