How to make travel greener will be in the spotlight at the next BBT Forum, in association with ACTE, held on 7 November at the Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge.
Overall, topics on the day will follow the theme of “Bridging the Gap”, staring with a keynote speech on sustainability. After a panel discussion entitled “How sustainable is your travel programme?” will take place, with speakers including travel manager Geoff Allwright; Cait Hewitt, Aviation Environment Federation; Robert Stevens, ClimateCare; and Steve Malkin, Planet First.
Later on, Matthew Holman, of Simpila Healthy Solutions, will lead a discussion on the steps buyers can take to make mental health more mainstream and practically apply best practice in this area to their travel programme.
Attendees will also get a chance to “Meet the Bookers” as Marissa Irons, EA and projects coordinator at RGAX, and other experienced assistants explain how travel bookers collectively have the power to make or break a travel programme.
The BBT Forum is sponsored by Amadeus, Uber for Business, All Nippon Airways, BCD Travel, Enterprise/National and HRS Global Hotel Solutions.
Spaces are limited, and there are free places available for travel buyers, procurement managers and meeting organisers – email events@panaceapublishing.com
