The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE Global) announced at its Paris Global Summit and Corporate Lodging Forum that Stephanie Smook has been named as regional director for EMEA.
Smook has been serving in the role in an interim capacity since July 2017.
She will work with ACTE Global members and partners to further the organisation’s mission to bring the best in education and networking opportunities to the corporate travel community.
Smook began her career with ACTE Global as education programme manager for EMEA in March 2014 and later became global relationship manager in 2015. Prior to this, she was a corporate travel buyer for Nike Europe.
Smook commented: “I strongly believe in the work that ACTE Global is doing and look forward to continue elevating the business travel industry in the region with our members, partners and sponsors.”
Greeley Koch, executive director of ACTE Global, added: “We are excited for Stephanie to serve as a regional director on a permanent basis. In her time as acting regional director, she has leveraged her wealth of industry experience to help us improve our education and deeply understands the issues affecting EMEA to raise our profile in the region.”
Smook is succeeding Caroline Allen, who will continue to support ACTE Global with special project needs in 2019.
