Yalazan appointed new general manager
Pervin Zeydanlı Yalazan has been appointed the new general manager of the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mrs Yalazan's promotion is among a shake up of jobs at the one the Turkish city's largest MICE venues.
She has worked at the Centre for several years and most recently was assistant general manager for finance.
Levent Gülsoy becomes executive assistant manager in charge of sales and marketing/operations for the Centre.
His previous role was also in the sales and marketing department.
Nedim Çakmak, the centre's technical manager, has also been named as executive assistant manager for technical services.
The Lutfi Kirdar Centre can accommodate 3,500 in its ballroom for dinners, 2,000 in its auditorium as well as having 21 meeting rooms, holding from 600 to 60.
It also has six five-star hotels close by.
