Serviced apartments in the UK enjoyed a strong second quarter with both rents and occupancy increasing.
Figures released today (September 8) by the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) show occupancy in London rising from 87% last year to 92% this year while rents increased by 4.9% to £962 per week.
Outside London, the ASAP said occupancy was on average 79% with June recording the highest rate of 83%.
Average weekly rents rose by 4.7% from £592 in 2010 to £622 this year.
