Destination management company Russkie Prostori has launched an interactive website offering online visa support and help for event organisers.
The online event management tool Portal East offers event organisers access to "confindential" rates and "ready made" proposals.
The quotation engine can be used for tailor made programmes, and "cuts down considerably the response time", said Russkie Prostori.
The site also has live weather updates.
Russia-based staff at Russkie Prostori also offer advice through online meetings, using Skype or live webcams. They also plan to launch a series of online training meetings in the coming months.
The company also has plans to develop its hotel booking portal, www.bookhotelrussia.net.
Russkie Prostori has offices in Moscow and St Petersburg, with a third office planned for Sochi (near the Black Sea), host city for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
