Workspace provider Regus has opened its first business lounge at a UK airport at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
The company’s new Regus Express business centre and meeting rooms are located in T5’s arrivals area, which are designed to cater for business travellers and mobile workers.
Regus Express offers a range of working spaces including hot desks, private workstations called Thinkpods, mobile charging points, wifi, refreshments and cloud-based printing and copying facilities.
Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place, said: “This is the first Regus Express location at a UK airport, and we envisage it becoming a popular touchdown point and meeting venue for a wide variety of users, not just airport passengers.”
Regus Express centres are mainly located at motorway service stationsin the UK but the company plans to open further airport lounges at Gatwick and Birmingham.
The Heathrow lounge can be used on a pay-as-you-go basis from £8 per hour or £40 per day, or through a Regus Businessworld Gold membership which costs from £35 per month and allows access to all Regus’ business lounges in the UK. Meeting rooms are bookable by the hour.
