FCm Travel Solutions has re-organised its business structure in the UK to create 86 small team-based businesses across the country.
Previously the travel management company (TMC) worked with 33 business travel centres.
The new teams will have a maximum of seven consultants and will manage their own growth and sales targets.
The agency said it was ”optimistic” about the business travel market despite the current downturn.
It said it was still on a major recruiting drive in the UK despite already hiring three new business managers.
Alex Cousins, FCm”s director of account management, said: ”We believe that there are opportunities to be found during a recession.
”We still want to grow the business and recognise that the industry moves fast so we need to focus not only on quick wins but also on longer term objectives.”
