Global travel management firm Radius has been selected to provide global travel management services to BlackRock. The investment management firm recently merged with Merrill Lynch investment managers. Radius won the business from World Travel in North America and Hogg Robinson Group in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Of Radius” 90 travel companies in its group, Radius Ovation Travel Group in the US and Radius Portman Travel in the UK will be the lead companies supplying travel, along with other firms in Australia, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore.
As part of its remit, Radius will also provide entertainment management services, data consolidation, risk management and traveller security.
BlackRock managing director and head of corporate services Brian Ostrowe revealed: ”The global agency sourcing process presented many viable alternatives, but in the end the BlackRock Global Travel Council was impressed by Radius” ability to understand our requirements and present a comprehensive and scalable solution”.
