TMC network Radius Travel and its owner Corporate Travel Management (CTM) are expanding their relationship with Middle Eastern corporate travel specialist ITL World.
Radius Travel, which is ranked as the largest TMC network in Europe, said the deal with ITL World would “significantly extend its customer servicing capabilities in the Middle East”.
ITL World is a longstanding travel management company with a presence in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar. The company has been operating for more than three decades.
Nicole Wilcock, vice president global agency partners for CTM and Radius Travel, said: “We’re delighted to strengthen our relationship with ITL World across the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council). Many of our existing and prospective customers are growing their businesses in this dynamic region.
“By ensuring we have a partner that can meet their needs – be it business travel, meetings or events – with a focus on providing excellent service, innovative technology and a strong return on investment, we’re extremely confident about our enhanced customer offering in this strategic region.”
Rafeeq Mohammed, CEO of ITL World, said that the expansion of the partnership with Radius and CTM would help to “strengthen” the Middle East’s position within the corporate travel industry.
“While the pandemic has undoubtedly challenged the travel industry, we are certain of a robust recovery, particularly in the corporate travel segment in the GCC,” said Mohammed.
“The expectations of corporate travellers and organisations have fundamentally changed since the pandemic; the demand for differentiated experiences and bespoke solutions that are designed for specific travellers’ requirements is likely to be more pronounced.”
CTM acquired US-based Travel and Transport in 2020, including Radius Travel, creating a $7.6 billion global TMC.
