Qatar has removed the UK from its list of “red list” countries, allowing fully vaccinated travellers to avoid quarantine when visiting the Gulf state.
Authorities in Qatar have simplified its Covid-19 entry rules with all vaccinated passengers no longer having to quarantine, unless they come from a red list country.
There are now only nine countries remaining on Qatar’s red list: Bangladesh, Egypt, Georgia, India, Jordan, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka.
All visitors to Qatar must provide a negative pre-departure PCR test result taken within 48 hours of their departure time. They must also register online and upload documents using the country’s pre-travel registration system.
Overseas visitors who are unvaccinated will still have to undergo five days of quarantine and take a lateral flow test on day five of this period.
