Consumer products giant Procter & Gamble
(P&G) has
awarded the management of its European and North American travel programmes to
FCM. P&G booked US$70 million in air volume in the US in 2019, according to the BTN Corporate Travel 100.
The travel management
company said that a consistent technology offering across markets was a factor
in P&G’s decision. FCM will implement its Sam digital assistant for the
company’s travellers.
The implementation of the programme will coincide with the expected return to
travel envisaged in the first quarter of 2022. The deal covers 18 markets in Europe including the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain and Scandinavia.
“The decision to move
forward with FCM was a unanimous one. For us, it’s important to look at not
just what can be done today but to also look into the future and how we
re-invent travel.” said Helder Gaspar, P&G global travel director.
