The first eight graduates from Portman Travel’s new training academy have finished their course and will join the TMC’s European Centre of Excellence in Ireland.
Portman’s CEO Steve Allen welcomed the initial eight graduates from the Portman Academy and revealed plans to recruit another eight students for Portman Academy later this year.
The first graduates will begin their new jobs at Portman’s base in Tralee, County Kerry, where the company already employs more than 50 people.
“We are delighted to be expanding our operation in Tralee that has over the years always provided a rich talent pool with great customer service and sales skills,” said Allen.
“We will shortly commence recruitment for our next intake of Portman Academy interns with training scheduled to commence in the summer.”
