The new One Global Travel TMC network, a joint venture set up by Clarity and World Travel Inc, has announced that its first partner will be longstanding Canadian travel management specialist Travelpath.
The creation of One Global was announced last month by UK-based Clarity and its US partner World Travel Inc with the aim of putting “local expertise at the heart of a truly global travel solution".
Travelpath, which has also been a long-term partner of both World Travel and Clarity, will exclusively service the Canadian market for the One Global partnership.
Jodie Gentles, One Global’s general manager, said: “We share the same passion about our customers and the highly motivated industry professional team at Travelpath will bring significant value to our global clients and community partners.
“Travelpath is the first of many partnership announcements to come over the next few weeks. We already have a number of key partners signed and we’re in advanced discussions with others.
“By the end of the year we expect to have an enviable line-up of best in market TMCs in place as we develop this exciting proposition.”
Travelpath, which is based in Ontario, has been operating since 1978 and its traveller technology includes online booking tools, automated quality control and ticketing, as well as risk management reporting and alerts.
Christopher Gregg, president of Travelpath, added: “I’m excited to promote this platform to our existing and future clients and we look forward to the long-term community partnership.”
