Amex makes key European appointments
American Express Business Travel has promoted Brian Mogler to the role of vp and general manager of customer service delivery EMEA. It is one of three new appointments for the EMEA region.
He takes over the role from Suzan Kereere who has taken up a new role for the TMC in the JAPA region.
Mr Mogler will be responsible for leading the European business travel service network of more than 4,000 employees in 22 markets.
Since joining Amex in 1999, he has worked in a number of posts, most recently as head of the supplier relations in EMEA.
Joakim Johansson is appointed to the new role of vp of advisory services EMEA.
He will lead a team focusing on providing insights needed to deliver ROI of three specialist areas: policy consulting, strategic sourcing and process management.
He joined the company in 1998 and his previous role was vp strategic planning.
Michael Rouse is also appointed to a new role of managing global field strategy and effectiveness.
He joins from United Biscuits.
KDS adds to management team
IT company KDS has made two appointments to its management team.
Yves Michali joins as vp for profuct and programme management and Jim Saunders becomes vp for engineering.
Both will be members of the company's executive committee.
Mr Michali has worked in the IT industry for many years including ten with Microsoft. He has also worked for Novell France, iMeditation and most recently as head of EMEA operations for Groove Networks.
Mr Saunders, who will lead KDS's research and development team, has more than 20 years' experience in the industry.
He has worked for Digital Equipment, apple Computers in California, Netscape, AOIL and, most recently, as vp of worldwide product development for Cartesis.
