Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for Transport Norman Baker MP will officially open the 2010 Business Travel & Meetings Show with a special opening address on Centre Stage at 9:45 on Tuesday 9 February.
An active campaigner for better and greener public transport, Mr Baker was promoted to his current role in December 2007 by new party leader, Nick Clegg, after serving in the Liberal Democrat Shadow Cabinet since 2002.
Mr Baker (pictured) has also been MP for Lewes since 1997 and has established a reputation as one of the most dogged and persistent Parliamentary interrogators the modern House of Commons has known.
