International Travel Partnership has struck a deal with travel technology company Truvle to offer business travellers email itineraries containing destination information combined with a booking tool.
The ITP/Truvle initiative provides clients with an email with links to a website application called Personal Trip Planner which can feature a company’s logo and other branding.
The PTP can be tailored according to gender, flight class and city of origin, while the email section contains information including restaurants, shopping, weather and exchange rates. It also includes maps and directions to accommodation and other destinations.
The software also helps companies monitor travel compliance as it permits travellers to book hotels, rent cars, make dinner reservations and purchase theatre tickets direct from their email itineraries.
Alon Zaibert, Truvle chief executive officer, said the application “lets travellers do everything”.
“That makes it easy to track where money is spent,” he said.
