The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) has renamed itself the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).
The association made the decision to rebrand last year, after the foundation of NBTA Europe.
Craig Banikowski, CEO of NBTA, said as the organisation now had a truly global footprint, the word national had become redundant.
To coincide with the rebranding, the business travel body has also added a number of new benefits.
These include free worldwide registration for members to all GBTA webinars, and access to new industry research.
The GBTA is also planning to launch “advanced networking”, which will help members find an expert on any topic, in any global region.
Its website will also be developed, to let members find resources more easily, and enable more collaboration, said the association.
