KDS has launched a mobile version of its expense and travel management technology.
KDS Mobile allows staff to enter expenses using a Blackberry mobile device, and to managers to approve travel requests, all while on the move.
The technology will soon be available for iPhone and Google Android users, said KDS.
Yves Weisselberger, KDS’ CEO, said: “‘KDS Mobile’ is our first-generation mobile product and we are very excited about the prospects.
“Further generations of KDS mobile products will follow soon.”
Rival Concur has offered a mobile version of its products for some time, but KDS said they wanted to ensure their technology was fully functional before launching.
KDS has also launched a receipt scanning service, which allows someone to photograph receipts with their mobile phone, and attach the images to a claim.
Under most European tax laws, the original receipt must be kept, however.
