Champion cyclist and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong has confirmed he is to speak at the National Business Travel Association convention this August.
The seven-time Tour De France winner will make a keynote speech at the Houston exposition alongside Virgin boss Richard Branson.
After beating testicular cancer, Armstrong went on to become one of the world's most successful athletes and sought after motivational speakers.
"Lance Armstrong's story is one of perseverance, hope and inspiration," said NBTA president and chief executive, Craig Banikowski.
"His challenges are undeniable, his recovery a miracle, and his success is an example of a true international hero. Lance's story about his journey as a professional cyclist, a cancer survivor and global activist will surely remind us all of what we can accomplish when we set out to reach our goals."
Both Armstrong and Branson will speak during the general session and luncheon on August 10.
