Co-founder and CEO of travel & expense (T&E) management company KDS, Yves Weisselberger, is to address the rise of integrated T&E solutions at Corporate Travel World on 22 May in New York.
Weisselberger, who was recently named one of the 25 most influential executives in business travel by Business Travel News, will discuss the impact of advances in T&E systems on corporate travel budgets. KDS is the European leader in such solutions that promise significant cost savings, improved travel policy compliance and enhanced process efficiency.
”Corporate Travel World is one of the most important forums in our industry and the prominence it is giving to integrated travel and expense solutions demonstrates how important this technology has become,” Weisselberger explained. ”We look forward to sharing ideas with our customers and colleagues and discussing where the latest innovations will take us.”
Evidence from a recent survey by Boston-based research group, Aberdeen, shows demand for integrated services is on the up, with 19% of companies who already have such a system in place and a further 26% planning to introduce one in the next two years. The company believes a driving force behind the figures is the integrated version”s ability to improve policy compliance.
Also addressing the issue at Corporate Travel World, is Boston Scientific European finance director, Volker Spichal. He will present a case study on how his company has implemented an integrated T&E management system, focussing on the need for communication between company, T&E partner and travel management company (TMC); the importance of the design and data standardisation phase; and the need to tailor the solution to local operating environments.
