The International Travel Partnership (ITP) has added its first Indian member, Thomas Cook India, to its global network of travel management companies (TMCs).
It brings the number of countries represented in the alliance to 33.
Ian Epps, ITP’s director of partnership relations, said “Thomas Cook India Ltd (TCIL) has a well-established corporate travel business and, importantly, has the geographical coverage necessary to cover a market the size of India effectively.”
TCIL has offices in 180 locations in 72 cities.
Suraj Nair, vice president of corporate travel at TCIL, said he hopes the ITP Network will allow the TMC to "leverage partner capabilities and supplement our base of global customers".
He added: “We are confident that this Worldwide partnership alliance will be mutually rewarding to our customers, partners and ourselves.”
