The Institute of Travel and Meetings has launched a new guide to the fundamentals of a global travel programme.
Available to members, the guide looks at where to start in creating a global travel programme, and moves on to look at benchmarking, data gathering and global models.
It is the third “How to...” guide that the institute has published, following ‘Fundamentals of a Travel Programme’ and part one of its meetings and events guide.
Jamie Hindhaugh, ITM’s chairman, said: “We set out a plan to deliver valuable reports and resources to our members during 2011 and this guide is just one of these in a whole series.
“If you’re planning on consolidating your global business travel expenditure, the guide is an incredibly useful template created after interviews with some of the industry’s leading global operators.”
