A revamped version of the annual Institute of Travel and Meetings (ITM) conference will take place in Oxfordshire in April.
The buyer organisation said this year’s event, entitled Intelligence 2011 – Intelligent Travel and Meetings, would be limited to 300 delegates, with a maximum 150 suppliers.
In a statement released today, ITM said the changes were necessary to provide more intimacy and that the focus on intelligence gathering would be of more value to members than the previous year’s format.
“We hope to provide delegates each year with content and reports which will determine just how to tackle the challenges ahead and make this the must-attend event of the year for professionals serious about forward strategies,” said ITM.
“The conference plans to deliver market intelligence to you to assist with business travel and meetings management planning, implementation and control.
“You will have a clear understanding of price, capacity and influential trends across all business travel and meetings sectors to help you develop your strategy for the next 12-24 months.”
The conference takes place from April 5 – 7 at Heythrop Park Resort
Enstone, Chipping Norton,
Oxfordshire.
Registration opens on December 1 and will be on a first-come first-served basis.
