The Institute of Travel Management (ITM) has announced its
annual conference taking place on 12-13 May will be turned into a virtual event
following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The event, which was due to take place in Brighton for the
second year in a row, will instead offer attendees a virtual platform to view
content from across the conference programme, which is this year themed on the
concept of ‘Thrive’.
In a statement, the ITM said: “We understand this
announcement represents a change in approach, but we are confident we can offer
an exciting and dynamic programme, consistent with the high standards of
education and content for which ITM events have become synonymous over the
years.”
Further details will be sent to ITM members ahead of the
event.
