Polish-based Travel Manager, which owns the Hotailors corporate booking tool, has secured €23 million in new investment.
Travel Manager received the funding from investor DC24 ASI and will use the extra cash to promote its rebrand from Hotailors to WorkTrips.com, as well as launching new insurance and financial products. The company also plans to expand into markets such as the US and MENA (Middle East & North Africa).
Filip Bloch, CEO and co‐founder of Hotailors, said: “We managed to survive the most difficult pandemic period for the industry. It was a time of major redundancies and restructuring among agents specialising in business travel.
“We used this time to expand our sales team, develop our technology and IT department, and strengthen our visibility.”
Bloch added the new investment would allow the company to “strengthen our position in international markets”, as well as for marketing purposes as Hotailors moves over to the WorkTrips.com brand.
Travel Manager specialises in organising business trips for external employees working on contracts.
Hotailors is featured within the SAP Concur App Center and its clients include major names such as Google, Vodafone and Microsoft. The company employs around 60 staff with offices in Warsaw, Poznan, Luxemburg, London, New York, and Dubai.
