The corporate travel services company, Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) announced last week it has two new partners in Africa.
One of the partners is Hull Blyth, a shipping company with offices in Angola, on the south west coast, which also has offices in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and the UK.
HRG”s other new partner is O-Voyages in Cote d”Ivoire on the western coast, which is part of the Olizair Group, a company that represents African airlines.
David Radcliffe, chief executive of HRG, said: ”The addition of two new partners in the African market significantly strengthens our presence there with representation now in over 20 countries across the continent.”
HRG”s decision to expand its presence ” which is currently in over 100 countries ” into Africa further was made because it is a growing region, said Laurie Waugh, a spokesperson for HRG.
HRG chose both Hull Blyth and O-Voyages because they share a similar philosophy to HRG, are committed to corporate travel and offer expert local services. Waugh said: ”Hull Blyth has a very good reputation. We can now combine a local expertise with our global presence, and they will have access to HRG”s worldwide corporate travel services and products.”
HRG services include corporate travel consulting and events and meetings management.
