With Virgin Atlantic rolling out wifi across its entire fleet, passengers will now be able to access the Heathrow Express website for free to buy tickets onboard.
Heathrow Express says the free access will allow them to view fares and book online from phones, laptops, tablets and Bluetooth-enabled devices. Virgin Atlantic says its new wifi powered by Panasonic and Gogo technology is available for all other services with passes starting from £2.99.
Fraser Brown, director of Heathrow Express, said: “We are delighted to be working with Virgin Atlantic to be able to offer their passengers the chance to easily purchase tickets in-flight so they can enjoy a seamless journey from plane to train and into central London.”
