Travel booking and expense management firm Serko has announced a strategic partnership with HRS.
The deal enables Serko to extend its offering of global hotel content. The company said it will make it one of the largest hotel metasearch platforms for corporate programmes.
HRS’ global inventory includes 350,000 corporate-relevant hotels – 210,000 of which are independent properties.
Serko said the deal gives its customers the ability to book their own negotiated rates and HRS’ exclusive corporate discounted rates. It can also utilise HRS’s digital payment and integrated meetings management solutions.
The news follows HRS’ expansion into the Australian market with investment in the Lido Group, where former HRS MD Jon West moved to as chief commercial officer.
