HRG has secured a five-year deal to manage travel for accountancy firm Ernst & Young in its Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) region.
The TMC already manages travel for the firm, which has recently rebranded as EY, in 30 countries within the EMEIA region and this will now be extended to 95 countries.
EY is looking to consolidate business travel spending across the region and HRG has been tasked with ensuring “maximum compliance to corporate travel policy and provide full visibility and management of end-to-end travel”.
Matthew Pancaldi (pictured), HRG’s director of sales Europe and Asia Pacific, said: “Winning the EMEIA contract from an organisation like EY is something of which I and my colleagues at HRG can be justly proud.
“This appointment provides the opportunity for our team to work in partnership with EY to deliver real value benefits, efficiencies and savings, and provide a worldwide service that is nothing short of excellent.”
HRG will begin working on the project from September with the aim of implementing its service in all 95 countries within six months.
Karen Hutchings, EY’s global travel services leader, said: “The team at HRG has demonstrated talent, expertise and knowledge at every juncture.
“Together with the company’s investment and innovation in bespoke technology and their astute commercial acumen, our global travel needs will be well serviced.”
