Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has opened an office in the former Soviet republic of Georgia.
The global travel management company (TMC) already has an office in Ukraine.
Both the Ukraine operation and HRG Georgia are owned by Sky Travel holdings, a company with which HRG has worked since 1999.
The Georgia office will provide both a travel management service and events and meetings management.
Keith Burgess, HRG’s company secretary and general counsel, said Georgia was experiencing a growing number of visits by business travellers, airlines and suppliers as well as multi-national opening offices in the country.
Valerie Luyk, who is managing director for HRG Georgia, said: “We see great opportunities in this growing market to develop the HRG brand and ensure that we continue to exceed our clients’ expectations.”
