HRG has awarded its Employee of the Year prize to Kirsten Morten, a team leader in its Glasgow office.
Morten was nominated twice for the award after creating a VIP service line and monthly account register to meet a client request. She was also put forward by a colleague she helped overcome a personal tragedy. Morten won a pair of British Airways Club World tickets to a destination of her choice, £700 from HRG, a week’s accommodation and car hire plus a Fortnum & Mason hamper.
Other staff receiving honours at HRG’s Employee of the Year dinner at the Guoman Tower Hotel in London included Malcolm Beard, operations best practice manager at Farnborough, who was nominated for work with HRG POS delivery and training outside normal hours whilst also dealing with a family illness.
Deputy integrations services manager Rachel Ball, also based in Farnborough, was another winner. Ball became global implementation manager in November 2009 for one of HRG’s largest clients. The company said she went “above and beyond the call of duty”, working up to 80 hours a week for more than a month to get the job done.
HRG chief executive David Radcliffe said: “I am delighted that Kirsten, Malcolm and Rachel have been recognised for their work at HRG. The Thanks! Award is just one of the ways in which HRG recognises the hard work and dedication of its people.”
