Goeuro, the travel search engine, is expanding into Italy after adding new partnerships with bus companies and partnering with both Italian train operators.
The search engine encourages users to state their departure point and destination then combine the results from airline sites with coach and rail results for a complete itinerary.
Italy becomes the website’s seventh national market, joining Germany, UK, Spain, Belgium and Netherlands – bringing the total number of possible journey destinations to 32,959.
Goeuro CEO Naren Shaam, said: “Italy not only delivers us great bus and rail partners, it gives our customers expanded access to transportation in one of the greatest destinations in Europe.
He added: “Italy has wisely invested in developing a strong rail system; Goeuro will help them achieve even greater international recognition and more customers by connecting tourists with travel options that they might not otherwise have explored.”
Goeuro was named in BBT’s 2015 hotlist.
