More German companies are allowing unlimited business travel
than at any time since the start of the year, according to new statistics from
the German Business Travel Association (VDR).
In its latest barometer poll on 14 June, the VDR found that 13.2
per cent of member companies now have no restrictions on business travel. This
is more than double the rate found in the last survey two weeks ago.
None of the 68 companies surveyed said they currently have a
total ban on business travel.
The poll found that the biggest barriers to travel are
currently potential health risks for travellers and complicated entry requirements
for international business travel.
