The
German Business Travel Association (VDR) and the Austrian Business Travel Association
(abta) are to work more closely together on training for travel managers and
business travel organisers. As a result of the partnership, abta members will
be able to book VDR Academy seminars and certificate courses at preferential
rates.
“With
the agreement, we want to further expand the partnership between the two
associations and link our expertise in knowledge transfer more closely. With
our numerous new online formats in particular, we can meet the demand for
high-quality seminars across borders without any travel expenses for
participating mobility managers,” said VDR managing director
Hans-Ingo Biehl.
“We are pleased that, together with
Austria's largest network for business travel management, we can make our
offers available to an even larger target group.”
Andreas
Gruber, abta president, added: “We are very pleased to be able to offer abta
members a much wider range of high-quality seminars and courses than before,
especially in new online formats, thanks to the increased cooperation with the
VDR. Our members have extensive training opportunities available that they
can use to professionalise business travel management.”
