The GTMC has announced the speaker line up for its overseas conference on Marco Island, Florida on May 17-18 2016.
This year’s event will address political and business themes relevant to both sides of the Atlantic.
The theme of the conference is ‘The True Cost of Business Travel’ and speakers will include Tim Montgomerie, Washington correspondent for The Times, talking about the US presidential and ‘Brexit’ polls and professor Sandy Jap from Emory University, Atlanta on the importance of multi-channel market strategies.
It will also hear from Boris Johnson’s economic advisor, Gerard Lyons on the global outlook.
All members and partners of the GTMC are invited to participate in the two-day meeting of business travel minds.
This year’s conference is headline sponsored by American Airlines and British Airways.

Other speakers include Andy Blackwell from Blackwell Security Consulting on ‘protecting your most valuable asset, the business traveller’ and a session on ‘Insights and Innovation’ in the hotel market from Marriott Hotels and Sabre’s UK & Ireland director Eric Hallerberg.
